HEALTH CONCERN

Past President Jim Sharrock and Nancy have relocated to Dallas temporarily while he awaits a double transplant of a heart and liver. Jim is truly one of the all time great servant leaders of Club 29 so please keep he and Nancy in your thoughts and prayers as they face some very tough days ahead.

Gean Atkinson has been elected vice president of the
Friends of the Oklahoma History Center.

Lou Kerr will be recognized with a Life-time Achievement
Award from the Women in Communication at their
annual luncheon on March 31st.

At the recent United Way Snowflake Gala, two past presidents of Club 29 were honored for their service to the community and United Way; Robert Clements received the Ray Ackerman Leadership Award and Meg Salyer received the John and Berta Faye Rex Community Builder Award.

Past President Jim Loftis traveled to sunny Palm Beach which wasn’t so sunny. There he competed in a U.S. and Canada Invitational only croquet tournament and won both singles and doubles championships in his flight in spite of wind ,rain and cold.

Account administrator, and Club 29 pianist, Cheryl Byrd, celebrated her 35th year anniversary as an employee of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
