Sandy Garrett, former Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction, will be honored at the ASTEC Charter School Foundation’s 4th Annual Door-Opener Award on Nov. 15th.

Don Betz, President, University Central Oklahoma, will be honored on October 1st with the World Experiences Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award in Global Citizenship for his inclusive leadership at UCO.
Mike Knopp has been named Director of River Operations by Oklahoma City University.
Dick Hefton will be honored by Rose State College upon his retirement from the Board of Regents

THE NEXT ROTARY AFTER HOURS will be held at the new Texas de Brazil at Penn Square Mall on Tues. Oct. 11th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  RSVP

We will be closing the collecting of funds for the victims of the Floods in Louisiana on Sept. 30. The funds donated by members will be matched by the Club 29 Foundation’s Disaster Fund up to $10,000. The money collected will be sent to Flood Disaster Fund at the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge Foundation. Pledge/Pay

Polio immunization – there is an opportunity to participate in a polio immunization in Agra, India on January 6-8, 2017. Rotary International goal – India became polio free but need to continue immunizations so it won’t recur. Hands on opportunity to save lives. READ MORE
