Tim Brassfield is the Executive Director of the Oklahoma City All Sports Association. He became the association’s director in May of 1999 following an 18 career in the Sports Retail and Sports Marketing Industry. During his career in the Sports Retail Industry, Mr. Brassfield’s positions included being a Key Account executive for Nike, National Sales Manager for Hydra-Rib Basketball Products and Territory Manager for Champion Products.

In December of 1999 Mr Brassfield was named the CEO of the THE State Games of Oklahoma in addition to his duties with the OKC All Sports. These games feature over 30 sports and 9,000 amateur athletes who compete each year in the events that are held throughout Oklahoma. The State Games are recognized by the governor as our state Olympics. Tim is also the current chairman of the Greater Oklahoma City Sports Consortium.

Mr. Brassfield is a native Oklahoman and resides in Norman where he is involved in numerous activities including the Young Life youth ministries and the Special Olympics. He is married to Lindsey and has four children; sons Travis & Brooks and daughters Lainey & Noraleigh. Tim is an avid supporter of amateur athletics and is driven by the many positive influences that sports can have in our communities.

Since becoming the Executive Director of the OKC All Sports Association, the organization has been able achieve significant milestones and objectives for OKC including the rebirth of the All-College Basketball Classic…the world’s oldest collegiate basketball event; securing the NCAA Basketball 1st & 2nd round Regionals for 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2016; the McDonalds All-American Games in 2004 as well as the NCAA Wrestling Championships for 2006 & 2014. The organization has hosted or will host the Men’s Big 12 Basketball Championships in 2007 & 2009, the Big 12 Baseball Championship 1997-2001, 2003, 2005-2014 and 2016-2020, the NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional Finals in 2008, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2017 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship 2007, 2009, 2014, 2017-2020; the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship 2014 and the NCAA Women’s College World Series 2008-2035. .

In his role as chief operating officer, Matt Bown has primary responsibility for managing the business and financial operations of the state’s largest law firm. In addition to working directly with the managing director and board of directors on firm-wide growth, risk management, organizational development, and profitability initiatives, he oversees the firm’s administrative, finance, facilities, technology, human resources, and business development divisions.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Drury University and is a certified public accountant. He began his career in public accounting, spending nine years with KPMG. He then joined the Dean McGee Eye Institute for 19 years, serving as the executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Legal Administrators. He is active in the community, currently serving as past president and member of the board of directors of the OKC All Sports Association as well as being a member of and having served on the boards of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma City. Matt is also a member of the Breech School of Business Advisory Board at Drury University.

In 2016, Matt was honored with Leadership Oklahoma City’s Paragon Award for exemplary service to the community.
