Steve Griffin is from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where he lived until his freshman year of highschool. He then spent 2 years in New Orleans before moving to Oklahoma. After high school Steve attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he earned his degree in Finance.
After graduating from OU Steve pursued a career in banking. Beginning his career with CitiBank, moving to IBC bank and now he’s been with MidFirst bank for the past 11 years as a Senior Vice President.
Steve and his wife Denise have two children, Rachel who is currently studying at OU and Michael who just graduated this past Friday. Steve has served as the past board chairs of Area Wide Aging Agency and Upward Transitions and is the President-elect for All Sports Association. Steve has a variety of hobbies that include scuba diving, fishing, hunting, canoeing and he loves to read and study history. Steve and Denise are looking forward to celebrating their 25 year wedding anniversary in 2017 hopefully with a vacation to a scuba diving destination.
