Celebrating President Terri Cooper, and the 2016-17 Rotary Year!!

President Terri Cooper is a native of Tulsa and has lived in Oklahoma City for more than 40 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in geography from Middlebury College in Vermont, and her law degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law. Prior to her retirement she was assistant general counsel for 20 years at Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company.

Terri currently serves on the board of governors for the Oklahoma State University Foundation and the board of trustees of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.  She is also a member of the board of visitors for the University of Oklahoma Honors College and the boards of directors of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic (president-elect) and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Foundation. She is an advisory director of Leadership Oklahoma City and a member and former chair of the Oklahoma City Arts Commission. Terri served as co-chair of the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts and is a past board member of the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma.

Terri has been a member of Club 29 since 1997 and has 20 years of perfect attendance.  She is a Club 29 Fellow, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
