R. Michael Siatkowski, MD

R. Michael Siatkowski, MD is the David W. Parke II, MD Professor of Ophthalmology and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs at the University of Oklahoma/Dean McGee Eye Institute, where he also serves as Residency Program Director.

His clinical focus is in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, as well as neuro-ophthalmology, with particular interest in eye movement disorders, pediatric neuro-ophthalmology, and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Siatkowski has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and is a Director of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

He is active in various roles in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Siatkowski has been a member of the Residency Review Committee for Ophthalmology since 2008 and currently serves as Vice Chair. He was inducted into the American Ophthalmological Society in 2011.

Dr. Siatkowski is married to Rhea L. Siatkowski , MD, a cornea and anterior segment surgeon, and they have three children, Abigail, Elizabeth, and Joshua.

Lauren Branch is the President and Chief Executive Officer of NewView Oklahoma, formerly Oklahoma League for the Blind. NewView is the leading employer of people who are blind and visually impaired in Oklahoma and currently employs nearly 150 individuals in Oklahoma and across the United States. In addition, NewView has expanded services to people who are blind and visually impaired across the state and services approximately 1,500 people annually.

Ms. Branch is chairperson of the Oklahoma Alliance for Public Transportation, serves on the Mayor’s Alternatives Analysis Committee and is the past president of the National Association for the Employment of People Who Are Blind. She is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Her community activities include volunteering for the Oklahoma City Arts Council, the Oklahoma School of Science and Math and the Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits. She is a member of the Downtown Oklahoma City Rotary Club. Ms. Branch has been recognized as one of the Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 and has been named as one of the 50 finalists for the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year, 50 Making a Difference in 2007 and 2010.

A native of Houston, Ms. Branch received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Texas A&M University in 1986. She is a certified public accountant.
