BVS_7395The Very Reverend Justin Alan Lindstrom is the Dean of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City and the Diocese of Oklahoma. Dean Lindstrom was appointed by the Right Reverend Edward Konieczny, Bishop of Oklahoma. Prior to becoming the Dean, Justin was the Founding Vicar of Saint Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Cypress, Texas. In 2002, Dean Justin and his family moved to Northwest Houston and started the church in their home with 26 people. When Justin left for Oklahoma, Saint Aidan’s was over 800 people strong with an average Sunday Attendance over 250. Saint Aidan’s is one of the fastest growing Episcopal Churches in the nation. Dean Lindstrom has a heart for people and a strong desire to share the love of God with all.
Dean Lindstrom is also a community organizer and sees his role as a Priest of the Church to be involved with the community. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, Justin served on the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Board of Trustees since 2004 and was the Chairman of the Board. He also served on the Reach Unlimited Board of Directors and was the Chairman of the Board. Justin also served on the Cy-Hope Board of Directors, Leadership North Houston Alumni Board, the Community Legislative Committee for CFISD, and the Boys and Girls Country Spring Festival Northwest Committee. For the Diocese of Texas, Justin served on the Saint Luke’s Hospital at the Vintage Board of Managers, the Greenfield Commission, the Commission for Black Ministry, the Saint Luke’s Episcopal Health Charities Housing Initiative, Summer Camp Director, and the Mission Funding Task Force. Justin has been invited to the Gathering of Leaders for Episcopal Clergy for the last six years.

Justin is the author of Faith, Family, Focus, Finances, a framework to help individuals and families discover their core values, live out their values, become debt free and live with intention. Dean Lindstrom is a dynamic communicator, effective teacher, and caring leader.

Justin grew up in Southern California where he was a swimmer training for the 1992 Olympics. After suffering an injury, Justin decided to attend Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas to pursue his college career graduating with a triple major in Mathematics, United States History, and Secondary Education. After college, Justin attended seminary at the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas and received a Master of Divinity. Justin was ordained a Deacon in August of 1999 and Priest in August of 2000.

Justin loves to travel, run, ski, and read. Justin is married to Susan for over 16 years. Justin and Susan have two children who attend Casady.  The Lindstrom’s live in Edmond.
