World Community Service – Project Dedication in Riga, Latvia

Thanks to Clytie Bunyan for the wonderful article in the 11-21-16 Oklahoman featuring the Project Dedication

Club 29 and its Global Grant project in Latvia was the subject of a feature article in yesterday’s Oklahoman.  It’s a wonderful article about our club, the Project in Latvia and members Bob Medley, Mary Jane Calvey, Larry Stone, Clayton Taylor, Marty O’Gwynn and Clytie Bunyan who participated.

Craig Story has been named president of the Oklahoma  Foundation for Excellence.

Cynda Ottaway of the firm Crowe & Dunlevy was featured in the Q & A column in the Oklahoman discussing tax strategies in estate planning.


The Next Rotary After Hours  will be on Thursday, Dec 15  from 5:30-7 at the home of Jerry & Carleen Burger.  RSVP

This year the Annual Project and One Pledge Committee has selected El Sistema, an afterhours music education program for disadvantaged children, as the recipient of our fund raising efforts.  In addition to purchasing a van to provide transportation for the children, funds raised will provide scholarships for Junior Rotarians, purchase Dictionaries for third graders and help support International and Domestic projects.  Thank you so much for your support and for helping our club do good in the world.
