Jr Rotarian Graduation Day
35 Jr. Rotarians representing seniors from high schools in the Oklahoma City area, were given $26,500 in scholarships today. The Jr. Rotarians wrote essays, participated in community service, attended orientation, and graduation. These scholarships were funded by the recent “OnePledge” campaign.. Thanks Rotarians!! Thanks also to Lesli Massad, Group Chair, and Dan Schiedel, and Clay Cockrill – co chairs of this very active committee.

Rotarians Participate in RedBud Classic Run
Many thanks to Ron Suttles, chair of the Service Saturday Committee and his volunteers who handed out water and powerade at the Redbud 10k on Sunday.
Club 29 Rotarians host International Guests
Thanks to Keith Oehlert and Ray Shaik and to the entire Rotary Club of Oklahoma City for all of your assistance with the visiting German Rotaractors from District 1820 and 1860.
This was a very successful exchange and the Germans were VERY impressed with Oklahoma and with Oklahomans. I have no doubt this will become an annual exchange. – PDG Marty Postic and David Postic

Rotary Point Dedication
Just a reminder to mark your calendars for Friday May 6, 6-8 pm at Rotary Point for the dedication ceremony. You will want to be there to celebrate in the fun and fellowship with your fellow Club 29 Rotarians and for the unveiling of the donor recognition plaque and the Rotary wheel. An email invitation went out from the office last Thursday so please respond if you can attend.
