Several Rotarians will be among the honorees at the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year gala on November 2nd. They are Susan Agel, Jan Barrick, Mary Jane Calvey, Elizabeth Hunt, Gail Huneryager, Molly Kerr, Cori Loomis, Cynda Ottaway, Paula Porter, Edie Roodman and Lisa Synar.

The Service Saturday Committee is still looking for volunteers to take phone calls during the OETA AugustFest fundraiser. The shift is this coming Saturday from 11:30 to 6. You can sign up here. This is a great way to help public television in Oklahoma.

One of the things Rotarians do world wide is to provide financial assistance in case of disaster. In response to the tremendous need resulting from the recent devastating flooding in Louisiana, we are collecting funds for the victims. Our Club 29 Foundation will match contributions dollar for dollar up to $10,000. The funds will be sent to the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge or one of the local disaster relief agencies.
