Connie Schlittler is a native of Oklahoma City. She received her undergraduate degree, a masters degree in social work and a masters degree in public administration, all from the University of Oklahoma. In sharing with you her many accomplishments, it struck me that throughout her working career she has perfectly put her degrees to good use in the fields of social work and public administration.

After spending a number of years with DHS, Connie recently accepted a new position, now serving as Executive Director of the OKC Metro Alliance, an organization dedicated to supporting Oklahoma families by helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance abuse. She has served as President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, and was named Social Worker of the year in 2015 by that organization. She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma and serves of numerous community service boards. Connie is married to Ronnie and they have an 18 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. They are members of Bridgeway Church of Oklahoma City.
