Dictionary Labeling Party
Club 29 is continuing its long-standing project to distribute dictionaries to the third-graders in the greater OKC area.
This year Club 29 will distribute approximately 4800 dictionaries to the schools in the Oklahoma City and Putnam City public school districts.
Success is possible only through a very generous commitment of Rotarians’ time and effort. Many Rotarians have already signed up to deliver books, but more volunteers are needed to deliver these books or to prepare the books for delivery.
We need volunteers on Tuesday evening, October 30, from 5:00 to 8:00 to place Rotary labels in all 4800 dictionaries. The work address and also the address to pick up books is: HEARTLAND TRUCK SALES AND SERVICE: 5701 SW 5th Street, OKC. 73128. Pizza and refreshments will reward the volunteers!
Rotarians who will deliver to the schools will obtain from Carly Tribbey their school assignments, including the name and phone number of the Principal to call to schedule a time to deliver. Rotarians may pick up the books they will deliver at HEARTLAND TRUCK SALES AND SERVICE: 5701 SW 5 STREET, OKC. 73128, during business hours, 9am to 5pm. If you are unable to pick up the books please email John Wilkins at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 405-782-0200 to make special arrangements. You may also contact Susan Beaty at 405-556-9511, or email email@example.com.
All deliveries should be completed by Friday, November 30 to ALL SCHOOLS.
Special thanks to Carly Wegener for her continued direction of the program.
