Jimmy Taylor, Cattle Rancher – U.S. Meat Export Federation, Treasurer of Beef Council
Jimmy Taylor and his wife Tracy own and operate Taylor Ranch which is located south of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. His great grandfather started putting the ranch together in 1914. It has grown to 12,000 owned and leased acres in the heart of the rolling red-shale hills of western Oklahoma.
The focus of their operation is to create the best steak possible to give the consumer a great eating experience. They develop every calf as if it were going to be served at their own table.
Jimmy has had the privilege of discussing their operation on panels at the Beef Improvement Federation Annual Meeting and the American Angus Association Convention. He was also honored to have received the 2011 Certified Angus Beef National Commercial Breeder Award and the 2013 Oklahoma Angus Association Commercial Breeder of the Year.
Jimmy is currently serving on the Cattlemen’s Beef Board, the United States Meat Export Federation and as an ex-officio for Oklahoma Beef Council. He also serves as a board member for the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives, Northfork Electric Cooperative, Roger Mills County Excise Board, Roger Mills County Farm Bureau, Berlin Rural Fire Department and Beckham County Rural Water District #3.

Emily Taylor is the Owner and Chief Operating Officer for Boiling Point Media, a full-service film production company, marketing and advertising agency. She has more than 13 years of experience in advertising, marketing, traditional media and new media including digital, social media, paid advertising, website development, and fundraising. Emily is active with the American Marketing Association, Automotive Women’s Alliance, Twenty Group North Texas and serves as an Advisor at the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.
Emily also serves as Executive Producer for the Boiling Point Media movies, including four films distributed by Lionsgate with another four on the horizon this year. Boiling Point specializes in family friendly, special effects driven movies that play in theaters and on the Disney Channel. Their most recent film, Ghoster, was released in February.
