COVID-19 Plan

Dear Rotarians,

Club leadership and staff met to establish a plan for the health and safety of our members in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You, our members, are our top priority. Several options were discussed but we believe, out of an abundance of caution, that it is in our member’s best interest to cancel our meetings through April 14, 2020. Our leadership and staff will continue to monitor the progression of the virus and stay in contact with membership should any further actions be required.

For those members concerned with maintaining perfect attendance, these weeks will not be counted towards perfect attendance requirements and no make-up is necessary.

This is unprecedented in the history of The Rotary Club of Oklahoma City and we do not take these actions lightly. Our partners at St. Luke’s have been supportive of our decision and we owe them our gratitude. We also thank you for your understanding and support. Our program chairs are already at work rescheduling the stellar programs that have been affected and we expect to see them all back on the schedule in the coming months.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to club leadership or staff with any questions or concerns. For the time being, our staff will continue to work from the office as usual, but steps are in place for them to work remotely and continue to support the club should the need arise.

Thank you,

Ann Ackerman, Ph.D.
President
