Join us in Cluj, Romania, September 24-29 for the Denta Project dedication and visits to Rotary Clubs in Cluj and Bistrita, Romania. Bob Medley and Mary Jane Calvey will arrive in Cluj, Romania, September 24. The Rotary Club in Cluj has arranged a hotel for us that is part of the Hampton/Hilton chain on the September 24 and we will travel to Bistrita September 25 and 26 for the project dedication then return to Cluj for a visit with the Rotary Club in Cluj on September 28 and departure on September 29. Airfares look like approximately $1350 directly to Cluj and back. Hotel rooms should be around $100 per night and transportation in Romania will be arranged by our hosts.
For anyone wanting to do a bit more sightseeing, we can arrange for you to fly into Budapest and take the train to Cluj. You would need to arrive in Budapest on September 23, spend the night there (wonderful sightseeing) and then board the train for an approximately 7 hour train ride to Cluj. It will require one or more transfers to different trains so travel with baggage you can handle yourself. You can then ride back to Budapest if you want or fly back from Cluj. Airfare to Budapest RT is about $1000.
