Ryan McNeil is an Oklahoma City-area native and founded Veritas Development in 2004 from Northern California after working in the restaurant business. He graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Veritas began as a retail shopping center development company and has since developed or acquired several million square feet of Class ‘A’ retail, residential, office and hospitality space. Veritas Development’s current project is OAK, a 20-acre mixed-use development in the heart of one of Oklahoma City’s most thriving corridors.
Proudly, Ryan is a fourth generation Oklahoman. The McNeill family own and operate banking, oil & gas and ranching interests throughout the state and he is a board member of The Bank of the West. However, his proudest achievement and place of joy is his wife and their four children.”
Tammy Fate, Director of Retail Development and Recruitment for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber has over 20 years of experience in the economic development sector. Fate graduated from Northeastern State University with a master’s degree in business administration. She currently serves as past president of Commercial Real Estate Council, ULI Advisory Board, ULI NEXT Americas Marketing Co-chair, and the ICSC Marketplace Advisory Board. Fate has been the retail expert in Oklahoma City for over 10 years working with retailers, developers and showcasing OKC on a national level.

Karen Wicker
Karen is a lifelong Oklahoman whose communication career spans four decades. Her love for storytelling began as a television news reporter for PBS, CBS, and CNN, which later led to leadership roles in the corporate communications and public relations sectors.
In 2012, Karen ventured into the agency world and birthed Candor, located on Film Row. What started as a one-woman shop, quickly turned into the second-fastest-growing private business in Oklahoma City by 2015.
In 2023, Candor was acquired by Salient Global headquartered in Chicago. Today, Karen serves on the Salient Board, providing strategic guidance to an expanded team of PR & marketing experts across the U.S., Canada, and the UK.
Karen’s local community involvement includes serving on boards for Autism Oklahoma and Gaylord College at the University of Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa, Leadership Oklahoma City, and Leadership Oklahoma.
