A message from President David:

We are late in the “4th” quarter of our Rotary Year 2020-2021 and your leadership group is planning the transition to President Elect Jerrod’s administration for Rotary Year 2021-2022 on June 29th. Because the health care risks did not allow for any of our customary social events this year, Jerrod Shouse has graciously agreed to combine his Inaugural Event with a brief awards ceremony at the beginning of the program to allow for the presentation of the Rotarian of the Year Award and a Special Community Service Award as well as celebrate this year’s accomplishments during an historic and challenging time. The gavel will then be handed over and Jerrod will introduce his team and provide his thoughts for the upcoming year.
The proceeds from this Inaugural Awards Event, will benefit the Rotary Club 29 Foundation. Please mark your calendar for evening of June 29th, at the Oklahoma Contemporary, 6:00 p.m. This will be the first significant in person social event for the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City in more than 16 months. Your generosity and patience this year has been extraordinary and allowed our historic civic organization to be good stewards of our operational savings to do so much for our community. A strong and larger foundation is the way to ensure that we can quicken the pace of our increasing platform of service to others.
While the ticket price for the Inaugural Awards Event will stay the same as in past years, we are asking you to consider a sponsorship for this event. The levels of sponsorship are listed below. We hope, for those who are able, to consider a donation to the Rotary OKC Foundation on the occasion of Inaugurating a new young leader for our club and bringing to a close a challenging year in such a positive way. It has been an honor to serve you this year and I am very excited about next year’s leadership team.

A Message from President-Elect Jerrod  Shouse

Jerrod Shouse – 21-22 President

As I organize our 40 plus committees that administer our club and provide service to our community, internationally and during times of disaster and make other preparations to assume the role as President of Rotary Club of Oklahoma City, I am struck by the heritage of strong leaders that have guided our club to its significant standing in the Rotary International Community.  President David and this year’s Board and capable staff was no exception and made significant progress in the face of a very challenging international menace in the form of the Covid pandemic.

I join President David in encouraging a gift to Rotary Club 29 Foundation on the occasion of my inauguration as the 112th President of Oklahoma’s oldest and largest civic organization.  The $75 ticket covers the cost of the evening, but your additional sponsorship will endow an even greater legacy for Rotary Club 29.  I look forward to celebrating with you, in person on June 29th, the great history and promise of Rotary
