Jeff Seymour serves as President/CEO of the Oklahoma City Innovation District, a nonprofit organization designed to support the build-out of Central Oklahoma’s innovation ecosystem with a specific focus on the assets, culture and history of Northeast Oklahoma City.

In Seymour’s work he focuses on building partnerships between the community, industry, research, and public sector partners to create strategies, programming, and a built environment to support Oklahoma City’s achievement of its economic potential. In this work his team focuses on building STEM talent, research partnerships, and supporting key industry growth including bioscience, aerospace/defense, and materials science technologies.

Prior to leading the OKC Innovation District, Seymour led the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s economic development team with other roles leading local economic development in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Seymour has a Master’s degree in International Leadership from Arizona State University, Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Business from Oklahoma State University, and an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Northern Oklahoma College. He, his wife Natasha, and daughter Emmaline live in Northeast Oklahoma City and enjoy spending time with their pets and going on adventures, especially ones where they can find great coffee and meet interesting people.
