Jim Sharrock has 43 years of legal experience in private practice and business primarily representing developers and owners of commercial and residential real estate and affordable housing, property managers, architects and engineers, land surveyors, banks, and institutional lenders, but also professional employer organizations, restaurateurs, agri-business organizations, a blood bank, and various health care organizations and providers. Jim is currently of counsel with McAfee & Taft, having been a shareholder, and and attorney since 1985.
He earned a B.A. in economics in 1970, and a J.D. in 1973 from OU, and is a member of the Okla. and Okla. County Bar Associations, State Bar of Texas, and Commercial Real Estate Council. He has been peer selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubble Peer Review, and listed in the Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
Jim’s community involvement includes, Past President (2004-05) of the Rotary Club of Okla. City, former president of Leadership Oklahoma City, Youth Leadership Exchange, Rebuilding Together, and Edmond Public Schools Foundation.
His awards and honors include Journal Record Leadership in Law Award (2008 & 2015), Okla. Bar Association Outstanding Service to the Public Award (2009), Rotary International 4-Avenues of Service Award (2005), and Leadership Okla. City Paragon Award (1998)
On February 19, 2016, Jim was the recipient of a Heart and Liver Transplant at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX
Earl S. Elliott, M.D. was born and raised in Tulsa, Okla. He graduated from Tulsa Edison, class of ’65, and earned his BS and MD from the University of Okla. His Internship and Residency was completed at the OU Health Science Center, Internal Medicine
He’s been in practice in General Internal Medicine since 1976, first at the Oklahoma City Clinic then at Integris Baptist Medical Center (since 1998).
He was chosen by peers as a “best doctor” in Oklahoma City 8 years running and is a member of the board of directors of Integris Health Partners; Chairman of outpatient Quality programs of Intergris Health Partners and Integris Medical Group.
Sandy is a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and is married to Jane. They have 4 children and soon to be 8 grandchildren.
