“Trading Lessons with the Next Generation”

We’ve all heard and read about the “Millennials.” They’re called the “new breed of worker,” among other things, and often are described in the most unflattering terms. Many of us “mature” professionals believe there’s a lot we could teach them, if they were willing to learn from us. The truth is, there are lessons we can learn from them as well.

Bj Glover is Founder and Principal of B J Glover Learning & Consulting, a boutique consulting firm she launched after recently retiring from Johnson Controls, a global Fortune 100 enterprise in Norman. In her business, she provides training and consulting in the areas of leadership development, diversity & inclusion, and psychological performance training (or mental toughness). Earlier in her unique career, she was a television news anchor and talk show host at KOCO-TV 5 for nine years. Today, she brings more than 25 years of experience in HR-related roles.

Ms. Glover earned a B.S. degree in Human Resource Management from Southern Nazarene University and an M.S. degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova. She is highly credentialed in the HR field with both SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations — and is a Certified Professional Coach. Also, she recently completed two terms as State Director of Diversity for the Oklahoma Human Resource State Council (OKHR) and as Vice-President of Diversity for the Oklahoma City Human Resources Society.

A noted public speaker and conference presenter, Ms. Glover will share with us this morning some insights about “Trading Lessons with the Next Generation.” Please welcome, Ms. B.J. Glover.
