Linda Haneborg

Linda C. Haneborg, marketing consultant and media strategist, serves as chairman of Linda Haneborg Associates, a full service communications and marketing firm. As a business owner, corporate executive, women’s and political activist and community leader, she has dedicated herself to empowering women in their careers. As a result of her commitment, the state of Oklahoma and the Commission on the Status of Women inducted her into the 2013 Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame.
CFE Haneborg is past chair of the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives and board member of the IFA Educational Foundation. A member of the International Franchise Association and the International Women’s Forum, she also served on the U.S Chamber of Commerce Labor Relations Board and the Wall Street Journal Opinion Leaders Research Panel.
Other national involvement includes serving on the board of directors of the Women’s Leadership Board at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) and the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC).
In 2014, Governor Mary Fallin appointed Haneborg to the Professional Responsibility Tribunal and to the Commission on the Status of Women. Additionally, Haneborg serves on the advisory boards of Allied Arts, Philanthropy World magazine, ESCCO, Heart Rhythm Institute, IEEW, the Myriad Gardens Foundation and the Civic Center Foundation.
A member of The Economic Club and Rotary Club #29, Haneborg chaired the Myriad Gardens 25th anniversary celebration, Splendor in the Gardens and Catholic Charities’ Green Tie Gala. Past president of the OUBI board and former honorary chair of Children’s Hospital Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network, Haneborg has served as chair of the Go Red for Women program and co-chaired the Allied Arts Campaign.
A recipient of hundreds of marketing/communications awards, Haneborg was named a Woman of Excellence from OCU and Woman of the Year as well as and the Lifetime Achievement Award from The Journal Record WOY program.
Other individual accomplishments include the national Association of Women in Communications’ Matrix Award, Headliner Award and Byliner Award. She has been named to the OKC’s 50 Most Powerful Women lists three years in a row.
Previous experience includes (retired) senior vice president Marketing/PR, Express Employment Professionals, management positions in television, publishing and managed services. She is a certified judge for the Miss America and Miss Rodeo USA organizations.
A graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology, she completed graduate studies at Southern Methodist University. Having served as an adjunct professor in OU’s School of Entrepreneurship in the MBA program, Haneborg is also a past member of the board of trustees at St. Gregory’s University.
