Matt Tipton is a proud charter member of Midtown Rotary and entering his tenth year as a Rotarian. During his decade of service he has served as Past-President 2016-2017, Assistant District Governor 2018-2019, Vice President, Treasurer, Sergeant of Arms, Midtown Rotary Foundation board member, various committees, and the infamous Beer Meister.

Outside of Rotary, Matt is a local business owner that has taken a 15-year career in Human Resources/executive leadership and turned it into a business, Why HR www.whyhr.guru that is the support arm for local business owners ensuring they have the tools they need for sustainability and growth. He has also extended his reach by becoming a keynote speaker on the topics of culture, diversity, organizational development and creating a training course for emerging supervisors and organizational leaders called “Let’s Talk!”.
His entrepreneurial spirit doesn’t stop there, as he has also started and maintained the companies Physicians Local www.physicianslocal.com a company centered around connecting the community to local physicians, PL Providers www.plproviders.com a company designed for employers to offer their employees affordable Direct Primary Care, and Back Office Bookkeepers www.YouNeedBOB.com designed for solopreneurs, small businesses, and independent contractors affordable bookkeeping services. Additionally, in the community, Matt proudly serves on the board of his Alma Mater, University of Central Oklahoma, the 2nd Century Board for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and has Chaired and still serves as the Art Committee Chair for the Omelette Party for the OKCMOA.

Matt recognizes that it is an incredible honor to serve as District Governor, but an even bigger honor to be a part of an organization that extends its reach throughout the world and stays consistent with its message of service above self, whether it’s in our backyard or across oceans. Matt is married to Brook Tipton, and it’s only with her support that he takes his next steps with Rotary and making a difference.

PDG  and Rotary Club of Okla. City ED, Megan Law

Megan Law is the Executive Director for The Rotary Club of Oklahoma City, the third largest Rotary Club in the world and the 29th oldest in over 35,000. She is the former Administration Manager for Accel Financial Staffing where she worked in commercial real estate management and staffing for 17 years.

In addition to her professional Rotary life, she has served, and continues to serve, in several volunteer leadership roles with Rotary. She was introduced to Rotary as a 2008 Group Study Exchange team member to Poland and Ukraine where she traveled for four weeks before co-founding and serving as past president of OKC Midtown Rotary Club. Additionally, she served as the Rotary International District 5750 District Governor in 2016-17 leading 36 Rotary clubs in Northwest Oklahoma, is a past District Trainer, a past District Group Study Exchange Chair, and the 2012-13 Group Study Exchange Team Leader to India where she traveled and led a team of four non-Rotarians for five weeks. She currently serves as the Rotary District 5750 Secretary and an Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Zone 31 assisting three Rotary districts achieve their membership goals.

Megan is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL Class III and a past board member for the Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Board. Additionally, she is a longtime committee member and chair for Festival of the Arts, past advisory board member for deadCenter Film Festival, former City of Oklahoma City Council campaign treasurer, and have served in countless volunteer roles with several organizations throughout Oklahoma City.

Megan is married to Marty, a Senior 3D Artist with Acuity Lighting Brands and they have a five-year old son, Spencer.
