Dear Club 29 Rotarians:
We are honored and excited that our president-elect, Tom Phillips, invited us to serve as co-chairs of the Program Committee for the Rotary Club #29 year beginning July 1, 2018. Tom and the Program Committee will ensure continuation of the top-level programs our membership has grown accustomed to hearing.
It is never too early to start and to that end, we would like to invite each of you to think of people and groups you believe would be worthy speakers for our programs July 2018 – June 2019. We will continue with a number of the “traditional” speakers you have long appreciated hearing from.
When a name occurs to you, please contact either of us Larry Parman (lparman@parmanlaw.com) or Scott Parman (sparman@parmanlaw.com) and we will follow up. When you submit a name, please let them know we may be reaching out to them. Because of timing and other factors, there is a chance that we may not be able to accommodate your recommendations. We will continue the practice of being careful about the selection of non-profits as speakers. Yes, all are certainly worthy of the opportunity to speak to our membership. It does, however, present a challenge in deciding who gets a Yes and who gets a No. That’s a road perhaps left “less traveled”.
