Peru Sept. 2025 – Project Dedication Trip

Final preparations for Club members to participate in the Piura, Peru Global Grant project celebration are now happening.  If any club member or any District Rotarian wishes to come along- please read the following details:

Trip dates:        September 20-27 *

• Trip Itinerary: Leave OKC Sept. 20 (flight to DFW- DFW to Miami-Miami to Lima)
  • Arrive Lima at 10:30 pm transfer to hotel
  • September 21- tour of Lima with guide
  • September 22 travel to Piura on Latam flight 2317 at 12:30
  • September 23-26 interact with Piura Rotary Club members, tour area, attend project celebration at St. John Vianney trade school, observe additional projects completed by Piura Rotary Club, attend Club celebration
  • September 26 travel back to Lima on Latam flight 2317 at 12:55
  • September 27 return to OKC (Flight to Miami, Miami to DFW, DFW to OKC)
• Trip costs- this is approximate but as of now:
  • Airfare to be purchased and paid for by you. @ $1500 OKC-Lima, Lima-Piura and return. MJC total cost $2103
  • Three nights hotel Lima: $358 single
  • Four nights hotel Piura: $335 single
  • Food and beverages: paid by you, except there will be food at project dedication, club meetings etc.
• Deposit needed by July 18: $500
• Final costs paid by August 15 (room charges are different for single and doubles)
• Travel arrangements made by travel agent in Peru
• *Those who want to add on to their trip either before or after the above dates can do so on their own.
