RefugeeCrisisDear all,

I would like proudly to announce that the Rotarians did it again. We have gather the donation to the one in need and show to the world that Rotarians are there to help to the society. Find below translation of the brief that was all over Macedonia in many TV’s and news today:

Today at the Red Cross Skopje in Momin Potok, Rotary club “Skopje” from Skopje donated food 2.500kg and over 55,000 liters of water and juices intended for migrants passing through Macedonia.

The leadership of Rotary Club Skopje symbolically handed over the donation to the organization of the Red Cross, which will be appropriately distributed in detention centers for migrants under the strategy of the Red Cross and the daily needs of the residents at these centers.
“The donation from Rotary club” Skopje “is provided in cooperation with the Rotary Club” Oklahoma “from the United States, as a confirmation of the global commitment of Rotarians to strive for peace and a better future for all people. Rotarians are pooling resources in a joint effort primarily for world peace and preventing conflicts, and consequently to eradicate the causes of hunger, lack of water, poverty, disease and illiteracy, through actions beyond the boundaries. The mission of each Rotarian’s selflessly to serve the community, “said Gligor Bishev, President of Rotary Club” Skopje “.

Here are some of the newspapers and TV station presenting the Rotary project:  (These can be translated into English, and each mention Rotary Club – Oklahoma, USA. Rotary Club 29 and District 5750 contributed $15,000)
