David Harlow, an Oklahoma City native, currently serves as CEO of BancFirst Corporation.  BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQGS:BANF) is parent to Oklahoma’s largest state-chartered bank with assets in excess of $7.6 billion and locations in over 50 Oklahoma communities.

After receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, David returned to Oklahoma to earn his MBA from the University of Oklahoma.  David began his career in the financial sector in 1986 with Liberty Bank and Trust where he began as a Loan Administration Officer and left Liberty 11 years later as Senior Vice President-Manager of their Metropolitan Lending Division.

After two years as Executive Vice President of Dorchester Capital Corporation, David joined the BancFirst organization in 1999 serving as Executive Vice President and Manager of Commercial Banking for BancFirst Oklahoma City.  In 2003, David was named Regional Executive and President of BancFirst Oklahoma City where his responsibility grew to include the overall management and administration of BancFirst Corporation’s largest bank.  In May of 2017 David was named CEO of BancFirst Corporation.

David’s current community Board of Director commitments include United Way of Central Oklahoma, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Innovation District, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, and YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City.

David and his wife Aimee are parents to Kristina, age 23, and Will, age 21.

 

David Rainbolt grew up in Shawnee and was educated at the University of Oklahoma (B.B.A.) and Tulane University (M.B.A.).  He started his banking career as a financial analyst at Republic Bank in Dallas, moved back home to Oklahoma to help establish the predecessor to BancFirst, and became its first chief financial officer in the mid 1980s.  He was elected CEO of BancFirst Corporation in 1992, a position he held for 25 years.  In 2017, he became Executive Chairman of BancFirst Corporation.  David currently serves as a chairman of the Dean McGee Eye Institute and sits on various boards, including the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, the Presbyterian Health Foundation, and the University of Oklahoma Foundation.  David is a past chairman of the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts, the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, the Oklahoma Bankers Association, the Oklahoma Health Center Foundation, the Children’s Center Foundation, and the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.  He and his wife, Kim, have three sons, Adam, Sam, and Jake and two grandsons.

 


Chair of the Day

Jim Daniel is Vice Chair of BancFirst, where he is responsible for retail banking in in Oklahoma, as well as overseeing the Mortgage and Insurance companies.

He is a graduate of Baylor University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of
Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Some of his many civic memberships include serving as Chair of Integris Health of Oklahoma for 41 years; where due to his commitment to stroke research, the James Daniel Cerebrovascular Center was established. He has also served as Director of the OKC Chamber of Commerce, and President of Rotary Club 29 during the year of the Okla. City Bombing.

Jim has funded two Endowed Scholarships for Baylor University, and a Student Scholarship at OBU.

Jim has been recognized for several honors, including 1974 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Man of the Year in Oklahoma, for 50 years in banking by the Okla. Bankers Association in 2011, and was recognized by Baylor University as Distinguished Alumni in 2013, Recently, he received the Marquis Who’s Who Wall of Honor for 2019-20

Jim holds a 38 year Perfect Attendance record with the Rotary Club of Okla. City.
