Now that my term as the 114th President of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City has ended and as I reflect on the past year, I am overwhelmed with a multitude of emotions – gratitude, joy, and a touch of bittersweetness. The privilege of serving in this capacity these past 12 months has been humbling, deeply rewarding, and one of the most rewarding and greatest honors of my life.
Looking back, I’m filled with a sense of accomplishment that wouldn’t have been possible without each of you and your support and encouragement. We set the bar high and because so many of you stepped up, volunteered your time and talents, and embraced the spirit of “Service Above Self,” we met our goals and experienced a meaningful year.
I take with me many wonderful memories. What I will cherish most are the connections we’ve forged with one another and the impact we’ve had within our community. The camaraderie, the shared commitment, the engaging and impactful speakers – these are the moments that have truly enriched my life.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve you and for making my role as president not feel like a heavy responsibility, but an absolute joy.
