Tom J. McDaniel is President of American Fidelity Foundation, after having served as President and Chancellor of Oklahoma City University from July 1, 2001 to August 31, 2011.  He retired as Vice Chairman and Director of Kerr McGee Corporation in 2000 and then served as President of Northwestern Oklahoma State University, before joining OCU. He holds a business degree from Northwestern, a Jurist Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from OCU.

He is active in the community, serving on numerous boards and commissions and recently served as Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Board for the MAPS III projects.

McDaniel and his wife, Brenda, have 3 sons, Mark, Randy and Lance all of whom reside with their families in Oklahoma City. Among his recognitions he  has been named Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEO in large non-profits. In 2006 he was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. In 2017, Leadership Oklahoma recognized him with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

 

 

Mark McDaniel is Senior Counsel with Devon Energy, where he worked since 2005.  He focuses on energy litigation, public lands regulation, transactions, A&D, and legacy liabilities in Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and offshore.  Mark represents Devon on the Western Energy Alliance (Board), and New Mexico Oil and Gas Ass’n (Legal Co-Chair).  He received the Justice Alma Wilson Award for the OBA member who made a significant contribution to improving the lives of Oklahoma children and Journal Record Leadership in Law Award; and serves as Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America; Oklahoma County Bar Association, Corporate Counsel Section (Co-Chair); Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society (Past President); and Rotary Club of Oklahoma City (Member).  He graduated from OU with a B.B.A. in Finance and J.D.  In 2011, Mark and his wife founded Cleats for Kids Foundation (C4K), a nonprofit which empowers kids to live healthier lifestyles and learn life lessons through sports by providing sports shoes and safe equipment to kids in need.  C4K has distributed over 304,000 sports items and impacted over 255,000 kids.

Randy McDaniel received a bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors from the University of Oklahoma where he was selected as the Outstanding Senior man, Student Body President and Rhodes Scholar finalist. He graduated from the Institute on Business and Government Affairs at Georgetown University prior to earning a master’s degree from Cambridge University in England.

McDaniel was a Distinguished Military Graduate from the OU Army ROTC program and rose to the rank of Captain during his tenure in the Army. In 2006, he was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives where he served as Deputy Floor leader and Chair of the Banking, Financial Services and Pensions Committee during his 12 years in the House.

McDaniel begin his career working in the Trust Department of a local bank and then become a successful financial advisor for more than 20 years.

In 2018, McDaniel was elected as the 19th State Treasurer of Oklahoma. As the top elected financial officer for the state, he was responsible for banking, investing and safeguarding public funds, administering state programs and managing a diverse team of professionals. He was an active member of the National Association of State Treasurers where he served on the NAST Foundation board.

Randy works at BancFirst as a Senior Vice President and Co-Manager of Corporate Trust. He is active in many organizations, including the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education. Next year, he will serve as the OCEE board chair.

Randy and his wife Julie have two teenagers: Grace and John. They attend St. Luke’s Methodist Church and enjoy outdoor sports.

Lance McDaniel

Founder and CEO of McDaniel Entertainment, Lance McDaniel is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker who has worked on 21 feature films, including Oscar-winner Million Dollar Baby. He is a business consultant with decades of experience in marketing, technology, events, and nonprofit management. And he is the former Executive Director of the deadCenter Film Festival, which was named Oklahoma’s Best Arts & Cultural Nonprofit under his leadership from 2010 to 2020.

Lance has written, directed, and produced five feature films, seven short films, a virtual reality film, and two documentaries. He has produced three television specials for Armed Forces Entertainment. He has written a weekly film column for the OKC Friday Newspaper since 2011. And his latest movie, Finding Carlos, premiered in theaters in February 2022 and is currently available on iTunes, Apple, and on demand.

Prior to his entertainment career, Lance was a marketing and technology consultant in London, New York, and San Francisco. He built and managed the original websites for Starbucks, Dockers, Hard Rock Café, Star Wars, and Harley Davidson. He holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree in film from Oklahoma City University.
