Cost, and other information from District 5750
Share this info with interested people. We will also be looking for several host families for the inbound group of students from Japan that come to visit us in March, 2019 and would like those interested to let Keith Oehlert kboehlert@gmail.com know. Will be for a couple of nights – We don’t have exact dates but will keep you posted.
November is right around the corner and complicated by Thanksgiving, so timing is pressing on us to allow students to make their application by the deadline of December 1
Each summer, District 5750 sends a team of 11th and 12th graders to District 2520 located in the northern prefecture of Iwate, Japan for approximately two weeks.
In taking part of WINGS of Rotary, you’ll learn a new way of living, a great deal about yourself, and maybe even a new language. You’ll also be an ambassador, teaching people you meet about your country, culture, and ideas. You can help bring the world closer – and make some good friends in the process.
More than 8,000 young people each year have experiences like these through Rotary Youth Exchanges. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime. If interested contact Club 29 Rotarian, and District Chair Keith Oehlert kboehlert@gmail.com
Applications are due Dec. 1, 2018!
