Bob Funk Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board of  Express Employment International and its affiliated franchise brands, including Express Employment Professionals, Specialized Recruiting Group, Express Healthcare Staffing, and Frontline Recruiting Group.

Since joining the global franchisor in 2013, he has held several key leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development and Vice President of Sales and Corporate Development.

Bob began his career at the Express Employment Professionals franchise level in 1996 and currently serves as the Managing Partner of Oklahoma Temporary Services, overseeing 58 Express-affiliated franchise locations. His experience provides a comprehensive understanding of operations and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the organization’s success. He champions business ownership and supports growth for businesses and individuals alike.

A dedicated leader, Funk Jr. is actively involved in Oklahoma’s workforce and economic development. He serves on multiple boards, including the Executive Committee of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, and champions career and technical education through his work with the Association of Career Tech Educators. In addition to his work at Express International, Bob is the founder of Prodigal LLC., a sports, entertainment, and events company, and the minority owner of Oklahoma City Energy FC. With a proven track record in managing high-visibility initiatives, he advocates for sports as a driver of regional growth and economic prosperity.

A graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 31 and member of Downtown Rotary Club 29, his dedication to principled leadership and public service shapes his long-term vision and stewardship.

He is married to Kim Garrett Funk, Chief Visionary Officer for Palomar in Oklahoma City, and together they have two children, Deacon and Olive. Together, the Funk family enjoys traveling, creating art, attending live music events, and spending quality time at home.
