Update on COVID-19 in Oklahoma City

LToya Knighten is a strategic communications professional with more than 19 years of experience in the public relations, government affairs and event development fields. She currently serves as Government Affairs Liaison for the Oklahoma City-County Health Department (OCCHD).  She previously worked in the communications, public relations, advertising and branding programs for two metropolitan Chambers of Commerce in Oklahoma, building strong relationships with traditional and new media.

LToya honed her skills in community relations and legislative affairs as a team member in the administration of Governor Brad Henry, including overseeing the governor’s Tulsa branch office.   

Furthermore her background in communications includes experience in public relations at the Oklahoma Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association. In this role, she directed statewide media relations and community relations for multiple county CASA programs. LToya began her public relations career at Mitchell & Associates in Oklahoma City.  She obtained her bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Relations at the University of Oklahoma.

Will I be able to see and hear and the presenter?
  • Yes. LToya will be talking to us real-time online with both video and audio. Be sure to download the Zoom Cloud Meeting app prior to Tuesday’s meeting.
Will the presenter and other attendess be able to see me?
  • No. As a webinar attendee, you will not be onscreen or have audio available.
Can I ask questions of the presenter?
  • Yes. At the bottom of the webinar screen is a Q&A feature that will allow you to type your questions to the presenter. At the end of the meeting, they will answer as many questions as time allows.
How do I access the meeting?
  • Register for the meeting in the link provided. After registration, a link will be sent to you as well as access instructions.
Do I have to be on a computer to join the webinar?
  • No. Zoom can be accessed via PC, Mac, iPhone, Android, and tablets.
How do I download Zoom Cloud Meeting?

Is this meeting required for attendance?
  • No. While we would love to have you join us, this is not a required meeting but we will track attendance and apply as a make-up.
Will the webinar be available for viewing afterwards?
  • Yes. Like our meetings at St. Luke’s, the meeting will be recorded for you to watch at a later time.
