Good morning Club 29 Rotarians,
When it became clear last week that our city would be experiencing inclement weather, our staff and the team at St. Luke’s began working to pivot the meeting to a 100% virtual format while still being able to provide you all with an informative and professional program. As of yesterday afternoon and again early this morning, OG&E announced they began coordinated interruptions of service to preserve the power grid at the direction of the Southwest Power Pool. With the added challenge of not knowing who may or may not have power, whether our speakers or staff coordinating the technology behind-the-scenes, our meeting today, February 16, 2021 has officially been cancelled.
I thank you all for your understanding in this unprecedented winter storm and look forward to seeing you all online next week.
